At only 25€ per disk (for the standard disks) I would not be woried if the brakepads you use are abrasive or not. Personaly I'm using the standard disks and never had any problems with fading due to overheating or a build up of gas between pads and disk.
I'm installing new disks next week as the old ones were below their minimum. At the same time I will swith over to Pagid pads, R14 at the back and R15 at the front (Alcon callipers). Together with a new brake cilinder that should give me a more balanced feel plus still allow me to "heel/toe" comfortably. Before my problem was that after several laps the pedal started to become to soft so that I needed to push it too deep ... touching the accelerator at the same time was becoming too difficult.
